Minneapolis Fertility Clinic Success Rates

Researching success rates can be an important part of choosing a fertility clinic. An excellent resource at your disposal is the Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) Report. Published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the ART Report lists success rates for every fertility clinic in the country. It also provides other information, like the total number of cycles administered, types of procedures performed, diagnoses treated, and number of multiple births. The information is broken down by age of the woman, which can make it easier to determine how the clinic measures up to your unique needs.
Minneapolis Fertility Clinic Data
The following table uses data from the most recent ART Report to compare success rates for Minneapolis fertility clinics for IVF cycles using fresh, non-donor eggs.
| Clinic Name | City | Number of Cycles by Age | Live Birth Rate By Age (%) | ||||||||
| <35 | 35-37 | 38-40 | 41-42 | 43-44 | <35 | 35-37 | 38-40 | 41-42 | 43-44 | ||
| Center for Reproductive Medicine, Advanced Reproductive Technologies | MINNEAPOLIS | 330 | 147 | 126 | 44 | 7 | 56.7 | 46.3 | 30.2 | 11.4 | 2 / 7 |
| Reproductive Medicine Center | MINNEAPOLIS | 171 | 62 | 59 | 19 | 4 | 49.1 | 25.8 | 27.1 | 3 / 19 | 0 / 4 |
Fertility Clinic Success Rates Make Up Only Part of the Equation
Success rates are important in making your fertility clinic decision, but you are cautioned against making it your only criterion. Fertility clinics are often very competitive about their success rates. For this reason, it is important you read the ART Report very carefully. In order to maintain their high success rates, some fertility clinics will not accept patients with a diagnosis that would make conception or carrying a pregnancy to term very difficult. Some also only perform certain procedures.
When reading through the ART Report looking for the right clinic for you, also pay close attention to the age breakdown. If a fertility clinic has a high success rate, but only treat a handful of patients in your age group, it may be more beneficial to go to a clinic that has more experience treating patients your age.
Instead of focusing solely on the success rates, make that only part of the equation. Visit each clinic you are considering beforehand, so you can get a better feel for the staff, including the fertility doctors.
