Nebraska Fertility Clinic Success Rates

There are a lot of factors that must be weighed when choosing a fertility clinic, but fertility clinic success rates usually garner the most attention. Fertility clinic success rates can be found in the Assisted Reproductive Technology Report compiled by the CDC. The ART Report breaks down success rates by age group and type of in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycle.
Nebraska Fertility Clinic Data
The following table lists the success rates for fertility clinics in Nebraska for IVF cycles using fresh, non-donor eggs.
| Clinic Name | City | Number of Cycles by Age | Live Birth Rate By Age (%) | ||||||||
| <35 | 35-37 | 38-40 | 41-42 | 43-44 | <35 | 35-37 | 38-40 | 41-42 | 43-44 | ||
| Heartland Center for Reproductive Medicine, PC | OMAHA | 74 | 33 | 23 | 14 | 2 | 45.9 | 15.2 | 21.7 | 0 / 14 | 1 / 2 |
| Nebraska Methodist Hospital REI | OMAHA | 148 | 56 | 25 | 7 | 2 | 43.9 | 32.1 | 16.0 | 1 / 7 | 0 / 2 |
It can be tempting to make your fertility clinic decision based solely on the success rates, but this may not give you the best clinic for your particular situation.
Recently, fertility clinics have become very competitive regarding their success rates, as high success rates bring more attention and more patients. However, in order to keep their fertility treatment success rates high, some have become selective about the types of patients they treat. Some fertility clinics will not accept patients with certain infertility diagnoses that may make trying to conceive even more difficult. Other may not accept patients over a certain age, since advanced age can make pregnancy more difficult to attain.
So how can you get the most complete picture of these fertility clinic success rates? Make sure you read the ART Report carefully. Pay close attention to the diagnoses treated by each fertility clinic, as well as the types of treatments offered. Also, look to the age breakdown of the success rates. Along with looking for a high success rate for women your age, you also want a high number of IVF cycles performed for that age group. This shows that the fertility clinic has experience treating women your age.
