Too Much Caffeine Can Affect Fertility by Reducing Fallopian Tube Muscle Activity
The Times of India, May 25, 2011

Drinking too much coffee, say four or more cups daily, can hinder conception, says a new study. Researchers at the University of Nevada School of Medicine found that caffeine, the stimulant in coffee, impairs the transport of eggs from the ovaries to the womb, the British Journal of Pharmacology reported. The study, conducted on mice, showed that caffeine inhibits contractions of the Fallopian tubes which are needed to carry eggs to the womb.
