Paying for Fertility Treatment: 

The Center for Human Reproduction at North Shore-LIJ has a number of programs to help fertility patients manage the costs of fertility treatment. This includes programs to help pay for IVF. The fertility clinic provides each patient a predetermination of fertility treatment costs. In addition, the Long Island, New York fertility clinic participates in or offers programs to help with fertility treatment costs. These include: the Attain™ IVF Program, the "New York State Infertility Demonstration" program and low cost loans from New York area banks.

A financial counselor at the fertility clinic will work with each fertility patient to help them get the most out of their insurance benefits, and provide information on fertility treatment financing programs.

Fertility Patients in The Attain™ IVF Program are covered for up to three IVF cycles and three frozen embryo cycles. If IVF treatment is unsuccessful, up to a 70% refund for women using their own eggs and up to a 100% refund for donor egg recipients is possible. Donor egg recipients have an unlimited number of frozen embryo cycles.

The Attain™ IVF Program Multi-Cycle Program may be an option for IVF patients who do not qualify for the Attain™ IVF Program. The Attain™ IVF Program Multi-Cycle Program is available to infertility patients using their own eggs. The Multi-Cycle Program includes up to two IVF cycles and two frozen embryo cycles.

The Center for Human Reproduction, North Shore-LIJ also offers Springstone Patient Financing for fertility treatment, including Attain IVF cycles.
