Jamie A Grifo M.D.
Dr. Jamie A. Grifo is the Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology at the NYU School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Grifo also holds the faculty appointment of Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the NYU School of Medicine and is on staff at NYU Fertility Center, a New York fertility clinic with offices in Manhattan, New Jersey, Connecticut and Westchester County.
Dr. Grifo received his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees at Case Western Reserve Medical School and completed his residency at Cornell University Medical Center. After completing a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Yale University, he returned to Cornell and established a medical practice specializing in the treatment of infertility in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology. Dr. Grifo is Board Certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology, as well as being certified by the Accreditation Council for Gynecologic Endoscopy.

New York fertility doctor Jamie Grifo's scientific interests are focused in the area of pre implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), and his team had the first successful delivery in the United States from the embryo biopsy procedure. Subsequently, there have been more than 200 babies born by PGD worldwide thus far.
Dr. Grifo's research focuses on the use of Germinal Vesicle Transfer as an alternative to egg donation, egg freezing, PGD and stem cells.
