He completed his internship at the University of Iowa and his residency in obstetrics and gynecology David Grant USAF Medical Center, Travis AFB, California, where he graduated in 1989.
After Dr. Young finished his U.S. Air Force active duty commitment, he completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Baylor College of Medicine in 1993.
