Fertility doctor Donald Young received his undergraduate degree from Drake University in 1981 and then graduated from Des Moine in 1985. He completed his internship at the University of Iowa and his residency in obstetrics and gynecology David Grant USAF Medical Center, Travis AFB, California, where he graduated in 1989.

After Dr. Young finished his U.S. Air Force active duty commitment, he completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Baylor College of Medicine in 1993.
