Education: 

Atlanta fertility doctor Dorothy Mitchell-Leef received her medical training from the University of Louisville in Kentucky. There, she completed an internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Prior to joining RBA, Dr. Mitchell-Leef held a ten-year appointment as associate professor and Director of the Section of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Emory University School of Medicine. She is currently a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of OB/GYN at Emory University.

Dr. Mitchell-Leef currently serves on the continuing education subcommittee and Women's Healthy Series Board at Northside Hospital. She was the Editor of the gynecology section of the 2nd through 4th edition of the textbook: Medicine for Practicing Physicians. Dr. Mitchell-Leef serves on the Medical Association of Atlanta board, acting as President from 2000 to 2001. She is also on the Board of Governor's of the Buckhead Club, and has served as President of the Women's Council for the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.
