Dr. Mitchell-Leef is a board-certified member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the Atlanta Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, where she previously served as president. She is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, the South Atlantic Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), and is a founding member of the Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
