John F Payne M.D.
John F. Payne, M.D., is a Greenville fertility doctor (reproductive endocrinologist). Dr. Payne joined the staff at Piedmont Reproductive Endocrinology Group on September 1, 2007.
Dr. Payne transitioned to civilian private practice after a successful 15-year military medical career, with his last three years assigned to Walter Reed Army Medical Center as the Chief of the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Division in the Ob/Gyn Department. Dr. Payne was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Medical Corps.

Dr. Payne completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology internship and residency training at Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Lewis, W.A. and a three-year subspecialty fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C.
