Mark P Leondires M.D.
Dr. Mark Leondires is the Medical Director and lead fertility doctor at Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut (RMACT), a fertility clinic in Norwalk, CT. Dr. Leondires also practices at the Stamford, Danbury, and Fiskill, NY locations.
Board certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, along with obstetrics and gynecology, fertility doctor Mark Leondires has varied interests in the field of infertility. His research interests include topics like endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and multiple-birth reductions.
Fertility doctor Mark Leondires served as the Director of Assisted Reproductive Technologies at the Combined Federal Program for Reproductive Endocrinology prior to joining RMACT. While he was in this fertility leadership role, the assisted reproduction program in Washington, D.C. ranked in the top 10% of IVF Fertility Programs nationally.
Before joining RMACT as the lead fertility doctor and Medical Director, Dr. Leondires was the Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. In order to fulfill his military obligation, he also served as the ART Director for the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, the largest fertility program in the military health system.
Fertility doctor Mark Leondires has also published extensively on infertility issues. His infertility research has been published in articles, medical journals, scientific abstracts, and book chapters. He was the lead author of “Danforth’s Obstetrics and Gynecology, 9th Edition.” More recently, he coauthored the infertility chapter in the text “Avoiding Common Errors in Obstetrics and Gynecology.”
Dr. Leondires has also been recognized for his excellence in the field of infertility and fertility treatments. He was named among "America's Best Doctors for 2011 - 2012."

Fertility doctor Mark Leondires earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry and history from Colby College in Maine and his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine . He completed his OB/GYN residency at Maine Medical Center, which was followed by more specialized training in infertility with a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.
