Spencer S Richlin M.D.
Dr. Spencer Richlin is a Fertility Doctor and the Surgical Director at the Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut (RMACT), a fertility clinic in Stamford, Connecticut. Dr. Richlin also practices at the Norwalk location.
Board certified in both reproductive endocrinology and obstetrics and gynecology, fertility doctor Spencer Richlin has completed a number of research projects in various subfields of infertility, including In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), uterine fibroids, and uterine polyps.
Dr. Spencer Richlin has written extensively on the subject of infertility. Along with numerous abstracts, journal articles, and book chapters, Dr. Richlin also served as the lead author of the IVF section in the book "Danforth’s Obstetrics and Gynecology, 9th Edition," which is an important reference for medical practitioners and residents. He and Dr. Mark Leondires coauthored the chapter on infertility for the 2011 book "Avoiding Common Errors in Obstetrics and Gynecology."
Along with serving as a fertility doctor and Surgical Director at the Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut, Dr. Richlin also acts as the Division Chief of Reproductive Endocrinology at Norwalk Hospital. Prior to joining RMA, he was a Clinical Assistant Professor of Gynecology at Obstetrics at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California.
During his reproductive endocrinology and fertility fellowship at Emory University’s School of Medicine in Georgia, fertility doctor Spencer Richlin also wrote chapters in books regarding issues of the reproductive system like uterine bleeding and endometrial ablation.
Dr. Richlin has been recognized for excellence in care of his fertility patients. Fertility doctor Spencer Richlin earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of California at Berkeley and his medical degree from the University of South California’s School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the Stamford Hospital in Stamford Connecticut, where he was named Berlex Best Teaching Resident. He received more specialized training as a fertility doctor through his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and fertility at Emory University’s School of Medicine.
