Video: Getting Through Infertility Emotionally
Elizabeth talks about how she got through her infertility and fertility treatment. "I think this is one of those instances when you really have to have a network of support to help you through it, whether it's success or non-success, I think either way it's really a difficult process."

It's really hard, and even someone like me who knew a lot—I've met many patients in the past who went though it—the emotions that I personally felt actually took me by surprise.
Don't be afraid to talk to people. Don't be afraid to expose your vulnerability.
I think this is one of those instances when you really have to have a network of support to help you through it, whether it's success or non-success, I think either way it's really a difficult process.
So, talk to people. Talk to friends and family. Reach out to those who are going through the same experiences as you do.
Information exchange as well as just having the emotional and social support. It's really not an easy process.
I think at the end I really almost turn to your inner self, and really try to tell yourself that it's OK if whatever the outcome is, it's meant to be.
I'm a scientist, and honestly I never really believed much in spirituality, but I think this is one of those times where you really have to understand, and the fact that what is meant to be is meant to be.
It helped me through a lot of that. I accepted whatever outcomes that would have happened.
