Kansas City Fertility Clinic Success Rates
Under federal law all fertility clinics across the United States are mandated to share annual success rate data on in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This information is the Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) report. Because the CDC is compiling a great deal of data from across the country the report is issued approximately every three years. This report looks at the kind of ART used, (fresh or frozen embryos or eggs), the number of cycles performed at a clinic, and the resulting number of pregnancies and live births.
This CDC report is the biggest and most complete collection of ART data from U.S. fertility clinics. The Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) also publishes statistics on fertility clinic success rates and can be used as an information resource.

Review Fertility Clinic Success Rates Carefully
Choosing a fertility clinic is one of the most important decisions to be made when you are diagnosed with infertility. While reviewing clinic data remember that fertility clinics are very competitive. This data only give you partial information about the clinic. Some clinics are selective about the patients they work with so their statistics look better. They may be cautious about working with older patients or patients with a more complicated diagnosis.
Get Additional Information
Research the clinic you are considering. Network with others who have gone to that clinic and find out what their experiences were. Request information about how many patients who are your age and have your diagnosis underwent your recommended treatment. Ask how many of them had live births? Visit the clinic and notice of how the staff interacts with each other and with patients and how it matches your comfort level.
