Fertility Clinic Success Rates Make Up Only Part of the Equation
When you are making your fertility clinic decision, it may be tempting to choose one solely based on success rates. However, it is important to learn how to read these success rates carefully in order to choose the best clinic for you.
Fertility clinics have become very competitive over the last several years regarding their success rates. In order to boost their success rates, fertility clinics may become selective about the types of patients they accept. Some fertility clinics will not accept patients with certain diagnoses, which may make pregnancy even more difficult. Other clinics only perform certain procedures.
Also, when reading the ART Report, pay close attention to the age breakdown for certain procedures. Some clinics with high success rates may not be the best choice for you, if they do not work often with patients in your age group.
