Northern New Jersey Fertility Clinic Success Rates

Image of Northern Jersey Fertility Clinic Success Rates

Federal laws require all fertility clinics to submit data on their IVF (in vitro fertilization) success rates annually to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The information from this data is collected and published in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) Report. It takes the CDC about three years to gather and collate this information.

The information in the ART report is important to review when trying to determine which fertility clinic may be the right one to help build your family. ART reports include information on fertility clinics from every state. You can find the number of cycles, divided by patient age, success rates for live births sorted by age, and the number of multiple births. It also includes information on each specific clinic outlining the types of IVF services offered and the diagnosis they treat.

The CDC report offers the largest data base for infertility clinic success rates. You can also find fertility clinic statistics published by the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART).. You may find it helpful to review both data bases.

Choosing a Northern New Jersey Fertility Clinic

Remember fertility clinics compete for your business by having the best possible success rates. One way they do this is by cautiously choosing (by age, diagnosis, pregnancy potential), the patients they work with. They want their statistics to be as positive as possible. The ART and SART reports tell part of the story. When you are choosing your fertility clinic inquire about the specific fertility treatment you need and ask how many women your age with your diagnosis have been treated and what their live birth success rate has been. Be sure the doctor and clinic you are working with meets your expectations and feels like a good match for you.
