Clinical trials are studies that operate with a set purpose to study a specific variable. Clinical trials are important in the understanding and development of new diagnostic measures, fertility medications, fertility treatments, and procedures for people suffering from a variety of disorders.

These clinical trials can occur simultaneously across the country, or even throughout many countries. They must run for a set amount of time, and are strictly controlled and regulated during the trial’s duration.

The field of infertility has benefited greatly from infertility clinical studies. If you would like to take place in a clinical trial, make sure to discuss it first with your doctor. Clinical trials are experimental, so there may be risks involved.

Currently, there are two infertility clinical studies in Oregon that are recruiting participants. Both of these infertility clinical trials are located in Portland.
