Anne Hathaway: Pregnant or Adopting?

Is Anne Hathaway pregnant or is she planning for adoption?
At Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards, red carpet pre-show host, Guiliana Rancic, fueled rumors that Hathaway is expecting. Comparing the Les Miserables star to the likes of Natalie Portman, Catherine Zeta Jones, and Rachel Weisz who snagged awards with babies on board, Rancic said a baby bump is the “ultimate award season good luck charm”.
Rancic wasn’t the first to question the occupancy of Hathaway’s womb. Life & Style magazine recently claimed Hathaway is ready to be a mom. However, a spokesperson for Hathaway denies that the actress and new husband, Adam Schulman, have any immediate baby plans.
However, Hathaway told The Telegraph in a December interview that she’s always dreamed of motherhood, be it through childbirth or adoption. "I’ve wanted to be a mom since I was 16. I’m 30 and I want to have a family of a certain size… I’d like to have a few naturally and adopt. I gotta get on it, you know? I’ve had one goal in mind for the past 12 years, which is: get a movie, get a movie, get a movie. Now I might have to say: get a baby, get a baby, get a baby”, she said.
The 30-year-old star is at the right age for making family building her priority. Female fertility declines as we age due to egg quality and quantity. Women in their early 30s have about 63% chance of conceiving in one year's time and 20% chance of miscarriage.
Anne Hathaway won Best Supporting Actress for her role in Les Miserables as Fantine.
