What's an IVF Refund Program?

Are you making plans on how you will pay for in vitro fertilization (IVF) this year? Many fertility clinics offer what is known as an IVF Refund program.

Typically, it takes more than one attempt at IVF to have a successful pregnancy and birth. With an IVF refund program, you pay a set fee for a specific number of IVF attempts (usually three). If you are not pregnant after the specific number of IVF cycles, you are guaranteed money back — usually 80 percent to 100 percent of the cost. In addition, some programs may offer plans for different numbers of IVF cycles.

The IVF refund programs set criteria to participate, and you can apply through your fertility clinic.
