Whether you are new to trying to conceive (TTC) or just trying to gain insight into the wonderful world of infertility, there are several important topics you should brush up on. Check out our downloadable Fertility Resources and these educational articles on FertilityAuthority.com:
Your Menstrual Cycle and Ovulation. Understanding whether your cycles are regular, and when you may be ovulating is an important first step in learning about your fertility.
Fertility Evaluation. If you are over the age of 35 and have been trying to conceive for six months, or under the age of 35 and have been trying to conceive for one year, it may be time for a fertility evaluation. Never fear! Meeting with the fertility doctor is not as intimidating as it sounds!
Fertility Drugs. Fertility drugs range from oral ovarian stimulation drugs like Clomid to more advanced stimulation and hormone suppression drugs.
Intrauterine Insemination (IUI). IUI is one of the less invasive fertility treatments to help a couple with an ovulation disorder, mild male factor infertility, or those using donor sperm conceive.
In vitro fertilization (IVF). IVF is one of the more advanced fertility treatments to help couples conceive. Many can conceive without IVF, and those who do turn to IVF come to find that it isn't as scary as it seems.
