Fertility Authority’s Blog of the Week: Becca Blogs
The blog we’d like to feature this week is Becca Blogs.
When Becca began trying to conceive in December of 2010, she knew that adoption would be an option regardless of the outcome. In April of 2011, she knew that something was wrong. After visiting a Reproductive Endocrinologist in August of 2012, she was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). Unfortunately, her insurance did not cover fertility treatment. In April of 2013, she decided that adoption was the best option and began calling local agencies and signed up for orientation. She graduated from PRIDE class in September of 2013 and is currently awaiting the home study completion.
Becca began her blog to chronicle her wedding planning. Shortly after, she began to blog about her adoption journey. She wants her readers to know that they are not alone in their struggles. She explains, “I hope that readers will feel like they’re not alone and that the entire process is extremely frustrating but there are options and people out there willing to help.”
