Fertility Authority’s Blog of the Week: Just Stop Trying and It Will Happen
The blog we’d like to feature this week is Just Stop Trying and It Will Happen.
Tracy and her husband are no strangers when it comes to the struggles of infertility. After five years, three REs (fertility doctors), five IUIs, countless medicated cycles, one miscarriage, and an unexplained infertility diagnosis some would be tempted to throw in the towel but not Tracy.
She and her husband have somehow managed to stay hopeful. They’re currently awaiting exploratory surgery, and considering IVF later this year. Throughout their journey they’ve had to make a lot of sacrifices, but one thing they won’t sacrifice is their sense of humor. “Suck on THAT, faulty ovaries!”
She started her blog, Just Stop Trying and It Will Happen about a year into her journey. Tracy has high hopes for her readers. “I hope that by reading my rants, rages, and random tangents,” Tracy says. “Someone, somewhere, will be entertained, educated, or feel not-so-isolated in this scary world of transvaginal ultrasounds and dudes in white coats poking around at your junk.”
