Fertility Authority’s Blog of the Week: Stupid Stork
The blog we’d like to feature this week is Stupid Stork, where it's author is convinced she wasn't assigned a stork, but rather, some sort of disabled pigeon.
Jenny, is a 31-year-old writer, who lives in Los Angeles and has been trying to conceive for three years. She has anovulatory cycles, PCOS and adding to the infertility fun, her husband has a male infertility issue where his sperm appears to be missing a vital protein known as PLC-zeta (PLCz), which is needed for embryo development.
On her blog, Jenny documents her journey with great humor and candor. She even issues a warning to her visitors, “Beware: Ridiculously honest infertile woman ahead.” And it’s clear her readers both appreciate this open invitation and actively root for the success of her upcoming second IVF.
