Fertility Authority’s Blog of the Week: Thought Provoking Moments

The blog we’d like to feature this week is Thought Provoking Moments.

Over the course of her infertility journey, Bree dealt with Cervical Dysplasia, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Thyroid issues, Cervical Polyps and several miscarriages. At present, she’s due to give birth to triplet boys after her second IVF.

Bree started her blog to add her own unique contribution to the infertility community. It was her way of sharing her story and hopefully a happy ending. “Sadly,” Bree says, “...the topic is so taboo that most people feel alone in the process. I wanted a place to vent and share without judgment and for people to see that it's okay to keep going. It's also okay to stop and cry too.”

Please visit Thought Provoking Moments at:

If you have a blog you’d like considered to be featured or if you would like to nominate a blog that covers such topics as unexplained infertility, adoption, surrogacy, donor eggs, egg freezing, IVF, insemination or living child-free, please email us at

I am simply amazed at how incredibly sincere Bree's blog is. She truly breathes the truth about all the moments, amazing and difficult, of the infertility and IVF journey. If more women could be reached by her voice, surely the "taboo" feelings toward and about the sometimes daunting goal of having a baby (or two or three!) would be lessened and replaced with an embrace instead!
