Lean on Me During Infertility

During the infertility process, you may feel alone. After all, most of your friends are pregnant and everyone on Facebook seems to have babies. You might feel like the last person on earth to have a child.

Despite what you think, but don’t forget, you are not in this alone.

For many of you, you have a partner who is going through the same struggle. Whether it be your partner, spouse, husband, live-in lover or best buddy sperm donor, you have someone to lean on.

Don’t let infertility get in the way of that. Of course, he may react to infertility in different ways – some men shut down their emotions; others are by your side every step of the way.

If you feel alone, talk to your partner, speak to a trained fertility counselor, communicate with a friend or family member and share what’s going on inside your head.

It’s okay to feel upset because of infertility, but it’s not okay to shut down and stay depressed.

Remember, life does not stop for infertility so enjoy the moments you have now.
