Life as You Know It

The holidays are upon us, and many of us who grew up with siblings envisioned having a big family of our own. Your time with your sisters and brothers was a blast. You learned how to catch frogs and how to shave your legs.

How does your own secondary infertility figure into this picture? It doesn’t, we imagine.

Most of us agree that our lives turned out very different from what our inner child imagined. But much of that can be traced back to choices we’ve made. Like, going to college in New Mexico might explain why you now live in Santa Fe. But having an only child because your body won’t allow you to have another isn’t like that.

There’s something beautiful about accepting our life as it is. There’s no way to know what it would be like to have multiple children, and families with many kids have no idea about life with one child. Life is full of twists and turns, but that’s what makes it so interesting.

FertilityAuthority wishes you a peaceful and stress-free Holiday Season.
