by Liz Bonis ,  13WHAM-TV,  May y, 2009

A pregnancy patch that pumps hormones into the system every few minutes is being studied in healthy women between the ages of 18 and 38 who want to become pregnant. There are very few restrictions with the trial, with the exception of not being obese, or having a body-mass index of greater than 35.

Th patch is being developed primarily for women who have low hormone function, or a condition called polycystic ovary syndrome which can lead to irregular cycles.
