Reproductive Health Start-up Nabs $475K in Invesment

Reproductive health start-up Intimate Bridge to Conception Inc. is receiving nearly $500,000 from a pair of Oakland-based economic development organizations, the company announced Tuesday.

Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse, which invests in early stage life sciences companies, invested $275,000 in the company, and Innovation Works, another seed-stage investor for technology start-ups, invested $200,000.

Intimate Bridge to Conception (Ib2C) launched in September and focuses on the infertility market. The company — led by Stephen Bollinger, who is also an executive in residence at PLSG — has developed an at-home system to help couples conceive.
