Young Women with Breast Cancer Often Not Aware of Treatment's Threat to Fertility

Young women who are diagnosed with breast cancer are often not aware they may not be able to have children when their treatment is completed, new research has found. The study, by Dr Michelle Peate at the University of New South Wales, has found that many young women with breast cancer have little knowledge of the impact of their cancer treatments on fertility.
