Maternal Obesity Could Affect the Fertility of the Next Generation

If a mother is obese, she is likely to affect the fertility of her offspring, a new study has suggested. Obese mothers tend to have lower levels of the hormone ghrelin, which leads to their offspring being less fertile, due to a defect in implantation, according to researchers at Yale University School of Medicine.
