Mothers of Twins Live Longer
A new University of Utah study compared mothers who gave birth to twins to those who did not. The goal was to study the impact of fertility on longevity. The results showed that while double birth doesn’t make a woman more healthy, healthier women do it. Mothers of multiples may not only carry a gene that increases their likelihood of twins, it may be the gene that causes the improved health of that woman.
