Personhood Initiative and In Vitro Fertilization

In just over two weeks, folks in Mississippi will vote on the controversial Personhood Amendment. People who are for Personhood believe that life begins at conception, and certain forms of birth control should be banned. People against Amendment 26 believe that it would be harmful to women and their families. A group gathered in Jackson Saturday for the 11th annual in vitro fertilization (IVF) reunion. All the families there have children who were born thanks to fertility treatments. They argue that Amendment 26 would make IVF more difficult.
