Failure to properly guide and inform

My wife is a patient of Dr. Kelly Beak. Although we felt that she was rather distant and a bit cold, she is very well qualified and professional in her demeanor and care. The results of her treatment was 100% successful. Our primary criticism of her care and, for that matter, the clinic in general is that it seems to us, that it is a high volume money enterprise that is more concerned with turning patients than it is with taking the time to assure that their patients are fully educated, informed and guided step by step through the process of treatment. This was not only our experience but, that of a friend whom we referred to the clinic. Specially, the doctor and the staff, failed to provide us with written and oral instructions of what specific effects and reactions to expect and treat from the medications and procedures that were administered. It was only after we complained of reactions that we were told and provided written instructions (which we should have had prior to treatment) as to what to expect and how treat. The first time this occurred, we attributed it to an oversight. But at this point, is seems to be a pattern that we can only attribute to an office and staff which is two busy processing patients and money than it is for proper and detailed care giving.
