We tried IVF on two (2) prior occasions at two (2) different clinics in South Florida which operated like mills. We finally came to Dr. Abae based on a friend's recommendation - he and his wife now have beautiful twins after only one (1) round of IVF. We got pregnant with our first round of IVF with Dr. Abae but unfortunately, the pregnancy didn't take. We are now going through the process again with this office. We know every person on the staff by their first name. Everyone has been extraordinarily nice, helpful, and they are always available to answer our calls, questions, emails, etc. I am actually astonished by the negative reviews here. I've been to the other clinics and this is by far the best experience hands down - with the best results yet.

OFFICE STAFF IS HORRIBLE

This office needs to take a class on how to be compassionate and polite. I went there to begin my ivf testing and prep for my first cycle. I have never done ivf before and had many questions for the Dr. He gave me a ultrasound and was with me for about 5 minutes. All the money I am paying he can at least spend time with me and at least ask if I have questions. Anyway they scheduled me for a HSG and advised I needed to take antibiotics a few days before the procedure. Well they wrote the wrong name on my scrip. NOT A GOOD SIGN. The office is way to busy for one DR to handle which will cause mistakes and mistakes with IVF are not acceptable. I was willing to brush it off and give them another shot. However when I called the office to ask for a CORRECT scrip I was put on hold for 17 minutes and the attitude I received was unbelievable. Like i was bothering them and their day. REALLY??? When going through infertility your nerves are already on edge and extremely stressed out. They need to understand that be more compassionate. Maybe to them its just another day at work but to the rest of us its the most important thing in our life. If they cant get that they should find another job. My trust level for their office and the DR is zero. I am now at a clinic in Pembroke pines and love it.

Horrible experience

Majority latin accented staff is extremely rude and ignorant. If you have more than one question, they will put you on hold and the call will eventually disconnect. The embryologist, Harold Rodriguez, is unknowledgeable and believes people should already know everything about cryopreservation. Staff stated the owner, Mick Abae, was not associated with any hospitals, yet he's actually associated with about 4 locally. Staff stated that a patient needs a script but would not state specifics on which tests nor would they give accurate information about their process. Very unknowledgeable and would not trust anyone associated with Fertility & Genetics with such a fragile process.
