All they care is about making money

If you really want to find a clinic that care about you, do not go to heartland. They just care about making money, After spending thousands and thousands of dollars and getting our hopes up by the doctor, we decided to find another clinic that is really willing to help us.

I would also disagree with

I would also disagree with the previous review. We worked with Dr. Barton both rounds of IVF. She was very personable and always listened carefully to our questions and concerns. Everyone at Heartland was very kind to us, and the day we came in for our egg transfer (after a failed first round), the staff seemed just as excited as we were about the procedure. When we found out we were pregnant and came for our first ultrasound, we missed seeing Dr. Barton. She personally called me after we had left to congratulate us. I felt that she was great to work with.

They are more into making money than giving good service.

Very rude customer service by the ladies at the front desk. Secondly we felt like the Dr. at our consult was more of a sales person than a Dr. We are never going back.

Love Heartland!

I could not disagree more with the previous negative review. We are seeing Dr. Barton at Heartland, and have found her extremely thourogh, and also very personal and empathetic. In regards to her being pregnant-doctors have peronal lives too and should not lead to a negative review. I would recommend Dr. Barton and Heartland highly!!!

Only reason I gave them 2 stars is because Maclin was very good and empathetic. We've done 2 IVF cycles and the first time went pretty easily. Got 3 eggs and it didn't take that time. Second time did not go as smoothly we got Dr Barton this time and for as compassionate as Maclin was Barton came across as cold and clinical. During the shots/medicine stage we were told by the nurses that my wife could take Brevelle instead of the Follistim. Brevelle was $200 a day less why the F**K would they tell you that especially knowing this is being paid out of pocket for most. This time we got 7 fertilized eggs and none made it to day 5. They had us come into the clinic that morning and we shelled out the $3150 for the embryo transfer then we were taken into a room where Barton (who is pregnant) tells you the bad news and pushes Kleenex to my wife. They are really lacking in dealing with people on a personal level. This is an emotional time for couples and it makes it worse when the doctor lacks any compassion.
