Billing department attempted to charge me twice

Fresh embryo transfer was failure, Dr Z offered uterus receptivity test to increase chances with frozen embryo transfer without telling that cycle will be postponed for months. Timing test included biopsy and ovulation monitoring with ultrasound. Performed biopsy was very painful, leading to heavy bleeding and high fever for weeks. I was self-pay patient and $ 17.000 was paid for IVF Practice Package II which should be included fees for frozen embryo transfer with ultrasounds and blood tests, but another $1.250.00 fee was required to pay for 3 ultrasounds since timing tests was not involved in IVF package and financial department was not done attempt to claim out fee of ultrasounds from insurance as diagnostic test. Another times BioRef billing department helped me to claim out insurance since financial department of RSC did not have a copy of the insurance card. I know that IVF does not guarantee any positive result but charging patient twice was very cruel- billing department of RSC attempted to charge me additional $ 4.500.00 for frozen embryo transfer making me so uncomfortable since 2 months ago I informed them that FET fee was paid already. Timing test determined a days of embryo implementation, but frozen embryo transfer resulted to negative pregnancy. I am blessed for being survived after a cruel biopsy and feel happy for having medical records of my blood tests and ultrasounds.

Dr Ziegler and his staff are amazing. I was finally released today after 1 year of trying. I successfully conceived with them in 2014. When I went back in 2016 for baby 2, I suffered a horrible 8 week miscarriage. Dr Ziegler called me and was there for me every step of the way. I stick with it and am Now pregnant with twins and due in April 2018!

money pit, negligent

The office staff are rude and have no compassion. All they want is your money. Last year we were told there were no issues with my husband's semen analysis and moved forward with IVF. Now after going to another practice we were told there were 2 abnormalities with the semen analysis last year. They were negligent and did not follow standard practice of care. Countless IUIs and 3 IVF transfers and still not pregnant. I can't believe I spent so much time with this practice, just run!

Thank you for allowing us to

Thank you for allowing us to become pregnant again!! Putting your faith in someone's hand is hard to do, but Dr Ziegler makes you feel comfortable and confident !!! He also always makes my girls laugh when I bring them in the office by making glove balloons for them!!! Thank you again

Procedure with Dr Ziegler caused me to have my uterus removed

I had a myomectomy for uterine fibroids that were causing me to be unable to become pregnant. I was told by Dr Ziegler to wait two months after surgery before trying to get pregnant. I become pregnant and then had an emergency c section at 28 weeks because my uterus ruptured where Dr Ziegler removed the fibroids. My daughter was in the NICU for two months and I ended up needing a hysterectomy. When I told Dr Ziegler what happened, he denied that the surgery caused the issue. My obgyn and another said that this was the cause, since you need 6 months for your uterus to finish healing after surgery. This same issue occurred with two other women that Dr Ziegler did this procedure on, with one losing her twins and her uterus. AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS

This practice forced me into

This practice forced me into invitro when it was not necessary for us. After having a son I did not ovulate. I went here to get something to help us because we were ready for a second baby. We did months of testing and I even got a surgery that they later said was unnecessary. The doctor said my husband had male infertility [we conceived twice naturally in the last two years] and said we had no other option but invitro. Of course I really wanted a second baby so I went every other day to the office and ended up doing 3 rounds total and I was not pregnant. I later moved and went to another fertility specialist. They redid tests and said my husband had no fertility issues and it was because I did not ovulate. I was given medicine and did an iui, all covered by insurance, and I am now entering my second trimester. This practice truly pushes invitro bc that's the big money maker. Completely unethical what they did to us.

Reproductive Science Center of NJ stole my money!

Me and my GF have been dealing with this unprofessional place for almost 2 years. No matter what doctor is there (cause its a revolving door of doctors) its the same old story. First Hina (head nurse) doesn't respond to emails or phone calls. The office staff never receives faxes or emails until u call and complain then they finally turn up. Me & my GF were told to purchase donor eggs from "myeggbank" which cost 11k. Once those were purchased we were charged 9k by reproductive services of NJ (Eatontown). The day before the transfer which was scheduled for 2/22/17 they refused to do the procedure, stating my gf had lumps in her breast and wasn't medically cleared. She was cleared by a MD and they knew this. Next they told us the eggs I purchased were all bad quality, after they contacted MYEGGBANK, the eggs were offered to me at half price ($5500). Disgusted by this I gave them a negative review on their FB page (causing them to take their page down). I was then informed by Dr. Alan Martinez they would not treat my GF any longer. I requested a refund at this point of the 9k I paid them, the executive director Frank Dixon contacted me and told me the only refund I was to be given was $2500 since they provided us with the rest of the services. The services they provided was to lead up to the embryo transfer which they refused to do, they proved the very painful scratch test (which had my gf bleeding for days) and prescribed her with several medications. So now I am out 20k and didn't even get anything I paid for. If you are looking to go to this clinic think twice or you will be on here writing as well.

The Doctors are all personable and knowledgeable. The offices are clean and professional. Their techniques are state of the art. I always felt like they had my best interest in mind and I felt well taken care of. I was released to my regular OBGYN and I will miss Dr Z and his staff! This place made IVF a very positive experience.

An Excellent Practice!

Doctors Ziegler and Martinez are excellent! The PA, Hina, was also great. While in their care, I always felt well taken care of. They were all knowledgeable and were genuinely concerned for my health and the health of my baby. They were easily reachable if I needed to speak to them. The office staff was always friendly and courteous. They were all super professional and I felt their equipment and techniques were cutting edge. The offices are beautiful and well taken care of. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking to get pregnant safely and successfully! I will miss the staff also! Kim was a pleasure to see almost every day- and I am grateful for all of their care and compassion.

After three years of infertility, I now have a beautiful little girl thanks to the treatment here. They were courteous and respectful and most importantly helped me to conceive after only one round of IVF. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great Doctors, Staff, and Facility

I honestly do not have enough good things to say about the Reproductive Science Center of New Jersey. I was Dr. Zeigler’s patient, but had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Martinez and having an office visit with Dr. Mann. I had a great experience with all three doctors who were not only knowledgeable, supportive and kind, but also willing to patiently answer my unending lists of questions. Their staff was extremely nice and responsive as well. The nurse I was assigned, who was essentially my point person, always promptly returned my calls and indulged my every question and worry. From day one of my treatment I felt like we had a plan. I was thrilled when after only 5 months of treatment I was pregnant. On the day of my final visit, I asked Dr. Zeigler for a copy of my medical records, and I received the records the same day prior to leaving the office. Also, the facility was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. I highly recommend the Reproductive Science Center of New Jersey.

Don't waste your time and money

I have never written a negative review ever, however I had to speak up so others don't make the mistake I did by going here. The doctors were friendly, other staff were rude. There were several mistakes from clerical errors to medical. There was no consistency between what was discussed with the doctor and other staff. We were also treated like a number rather than a person. There are other negative points than what I just described. Save your time and money! We switched to a different doctor and clinic and know we made the right decision for us.

save your time and money- go to NYC instead

I found the overall facility nice and clean. The non-medical staff were courteous, helpful and competent, but overall the facility's quality and competence really suffered where it counted. I went there for initial testing and a couple of IUIs, later switched to a doctor in the city. One significant error that can't be overlooked- my HSG showed an anatomical defect- a septate uterus- that the doctor didn't catch (but in the xray images it's fairly obvious to anyone who knows what they are looking for). This is interesting as my HSG did not go smoothly at all, 1 tube appeared to be blocked but later "unblocked" or unspasmed and when discussing this with the doctor she was actually fairly flippant about it and said the radiologist doesn't know anything about the reproductive system and he wouldn't know what he was talking about- apparently she didn't either. It also makes you wonder why they send you to get your HSG with someone who "doesn't know anything about the reproductive system". My doctor in NYC performs the HSG himself as he is an expert in the reproductive system. I later had to have major surgery to correct the septate - and it's the type of thing you must correct prior to any type of fertility treatment as septates lead to very high miscarriage rates. Because they missed this defect I had 2 (unsuccessful) expensive IUIs that I shouldn't have even had done considering the fact that I had a septate- it was irresponsible on their part and dangerous. Bottom line- go somewhere else.

Rude and unscrupulous staff

This is the worse place to go to. The staff are rude, uncooperative. The doctor does not give any result in his treatment, just cost tons of money. You can never reach the doctor by phone/email (he refuses to give them out for lame reasons. Last but not least, it is nearly impossible to ask for medical records. They told you they sent them to you but they did not and wanted to charge 1USD for each page if the medical records need to be sent again. Warning: If the receptionist doesn't like you, she will put you on the waiting/hold without prior notice whenever she hears your voice. Completely unbelievable. Ruthless people. Stay away from this place.
