Absolutely terrible experience. They even do not look at the chart to make a decision about the next cycle. They care only about $$$$.

Bad clinic

We have been with HRC for years with no results. We actually never saw Dr. Kolb in person! Sounds reduculous, but it is true. Nurses are changing all the time. Some of them are just coordinating with no medical education. We confirm the previous reviewer’s opinion that from our multiple experience: charts are not reviewed before appts. Just a soulless machine for making money out of you with no evident Wish to help you medically. Stay away!!!!!

Not worth the price

My experience was similar to Kristin's with the same doctor. What they mostly care about is your money, and they will make their best to take the most they can (they keep raising their rates, and if you go for more than one cycle, the "special" deal that you could get is never going to last more than a few months). In short, this is a business (an extremely lucrative one), nothing more. Nothing seems to be done with your own individuality in mind and, on the contrary, everything is made following data that are "general" ones. The nurses are okay, but tend to belittle you and nobody cares that you are a highly educated being and need clear explanations and chat. In short, I am happy that we ended up having our babies on our own without their help and I deeply regret having paid for their service for 2 useless cycles. The 99% rate of PGS baby gender selection is a nice "poster statement" and they did not manage to help us have a boy. It ended up being something we did naturally, but I am sad for people who really need IVF and who have to go through cycles and cycles with such a team.

Dr. Kolb

I've been a patient of Dr. Kolb's for a year. The office is always really busy and staff seem rushed and overwhelmed. Dr. Kolb never appears to know me or the particulars of my fertility issues. The treatment is not individualized and charts are not reviewed before appts. There is no time for questions. All the doctors say, "I'll meet you out there" but after you get dressed and exit the room they are rarely still around. It definitely feels like they don't want to waste their time talking with you or answering your questions and instead push you off on the nurse coordinators. Given the situation at hand (creating and preserving human life) and the cost involved, I would expect to have more access to the actual doctor and have resented having 98% of my communication have to be with a coordinator. I would not recommend HRC if you are seeking high quality, individualized care. They are too busy and bound to make big mistakes. Currently there is a lawsuit for this very issue.
