Dr MK is where God led us - would HIGHLY recommend her and staff

My wife and I have battled infertility for quite sometime - we went through several procedures, consultations, tests, facilities...you name it. We wanted to look at all the places (Emory, RBA, GRS) and their pros and cons. This journey is highly stressful so we prayed on it and looked for the one who made us feel the most comfortable - statistics mattered; however, its in God's hands at the end of the day so that was not the deciding factor. What led us to DR MK was simply the feeling of her caring about US on a personal level. We went to the orientation and felt very comfortable from jump; but we felt so engaged on a personal level with our 1 on 1 meeting with her. Throughout this process, her and her staff have been incredible and BEYOND upbeat. Again, this process is not easy so it was imperative we had someone that we genuinely cared about us. Her positive attitude throughout was immeasurable. I cannot say enough about her, her staff and the quality of their work....because in the beginning, she said, "were gonna get you guys pregnant" - and that's exactly what she did. Continued prayers as its early, but we heard our baby's heartbeat for the first time this past Friday...I would go to bat for Dr MK and GRS any day of the week. This is our testimony and God led us to her. We cant say enough positives about her and we owe her everything!

Very disappointing!

Wow, what a disappointment. I went to see her in the hopes of understanding test results I had previously gotten from another doctor who left Emory. When I got there on time I still had to wait an hour past my appointment time until she saw me. When she did she was not helpful and instead almost immediately directed me to consider donor eggs without even seeking to help get to the bottom of what I have now confirmed is a hormonal imbalance. She turned me away quite abruptly which deeply saddened me since I had heard such supposed great things about her. She seemed to almost rush through our discussion. I would not ever recommend her.

Tubal reversal

Whats the cost

Tubal Reversal Cost

Hi Mekia,

If your doctor feels that you qualify for a tubal reversal, in general, tubal-ligation reversals range from about $6,000 to $15,000 and insurance does not typically cover the procedure. An option to tubal reversal is in vitro fertilization (IVF), a form of assisted reproduction in which a woman's egg and man's sperm are fertilized outside the womb in a laboratory dish. The average IVF cost is $12,000, but it can be as much as $15,000. It may be as low as $10,000, but it’s rarely lower than that. These prices are for one cycle of IVF. Insurance does not typically cover the procedure if the individual had a tubal ligation. I would be happy to help you find a doctor in your area and get you set up for a consultation to discuss your options. If you are interested, please email at Jenna@fertilityauthority.com with more information, including your full name, zip code, phone number, email address, DOB/Age, and any additional information you feel is relevant.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
Jenna
