We decided to see Dr. Ramirez because we heard he was the best. From the first appt. I could tell he wasn't the nicest person, however if he is a great Dr. then so be it. With each visit I felt less and less welcomed by him and he didn't seem to really care. I looked at videos of other RE visit, for example R.E. explaining an ultrasound, going over what a good or bad follicle might look like. Dr. Ramirez didn't do any of this, the disappointing part was if you view some of his Q&A he specifically states to a patient asking about follicle sizes that "24mm and 30mm are absolutely to big to try to inseminate that cycle" and states the patient's ultrasound should have been done on cd9 or cd 10, and how the patients R.E. should have done this to monitor growth, he also mentioned that this was how he monitors his patients. My follicles were a lot bigger then the patient's who were 24mm and 30mm BUT HE WAS STILL GOING TO PERFORM AN INSEMINATION. Also he did not perform an ultrasound early enough. We wanted to invest in our family with him as he is not cheap but decided to change RE and we are already pleased with how we are being treated. Dr. Ramirez's staff are amazing, that's why it hurts to leave such a bad review but if you don't feel comfortable even asking your RE a question, that's a problem. I wont say that he isn't one of the best because he has help so many families but I truly felt that he didn't want to help my wife and I build our family.

Great Fertility Center close to the Bay Area

Dr. Ramirez and his staff were very attentive and responsive. They helped us right from when we contacted them and made the process so much easier. They were able to fit us into their already busy schedule and we conceived in the first cycle! We would highly recommend The Fertility and Gynecology Center at Monterey Bay.
