Dr. Jessica Salas Mann is an affiliate physician to IRMS at Saint Barnabas. As medical director of JSM Fertility, Dr. Mann works in concert with IRMS physicians to give exemplary care and service to patients throughout Central and Southern New Jersey at her main office at 2 Hospital Plaza, Suite 340 Old Bridge, NJ 08857. She is an experienced reproductive surgeon, having served the patients of Monmouth and Ocean counties since 2011. Her areas of clinical interest and expertise are pregnancy loss, ovulation induction, in vitro fertilization, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and third party reproduction.

Education: 

Dr. Mann graduated with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. She received her medical degree from the University of Florida School of Medicine. During medical school, she served as an officer of the local chapter of the American Medical Women’s Association.

She was awarded an internship at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center where she investigated neoadjuvant chemotherapy as treatment for early stage breast cancer. Dr. Mann then went on to pursue a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the New York University Langone Medical Center. Her research in Early Serum hCG and In Vitro Fertilization was awarded Outstanding Resident Paper by the New York Obstetrical Society. She completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Connecticut in 2010.

Dr. Jessica Salas Mann treats all aspect of infertility. The main focus of the initial visit is to identify the cause of infertility. Following an exam, the patients are required to undergo a battery of blood tests. Female patients undergo anatomic evaluation in the form of an HSG, femvue, or sonohysterogram. Male patients provide a semen sample for analysis (Semen analysis). At times, an etiology is not identified. Male partners also undergo blood tests. Once all results are obtained, Dr. Mann will present a treatment plan to the patients.

Dr. Jessica Salas Mann and her New Jersey fertility clinic treat the many causes of infertility. The initial work up is designed to identify the etiology of infertility. Male factor and female factor each contribute to about 40% of the cases of infertility. Congenital defects, fibroids and other growths, endometriosis, scar tissue and blockages affecting the reproductive anatomy are leading causes of infertility treated by Dr. Mann and IRMS at Saint Barnabas. Paying for Fertility Treatment: 

New Jersey fertility patients who see Dr. Jessica Salas Mann will have their own financial coordinator, who will work with them to address the payment-related issues, including insurance benefits, pre-authorizations, and other payment arrangements. In addition to meeting the physician and other clinical staff during the first visit, her patients also meet with their financial coordinator to review the costs/insurance issues related to their specific treatment needs.
